Childs, MSc, BA (Hons)
Managing Director
David oversees Trigon 's recruiting practice and has
seven years’ executive
search experience in the UK, USA and Japan in high-level
‘retained’ and ‘success’ based
searches across a range of industries.
David is a former Senior Inspector in the Royal Hong
Kong Police where he commanded teams
in the elite Police Tactical Unit, Emergency Unit
and in the Criminal Investigation Department.
In total, he has nearly 20 years’ experience
in both public and private sector management.
He has developed an extensive network of contacts
in both private and public sector security across
Europe, USA and Asia from which he draws upon recruiting
partner relationships to
offer wider reach to Trigon’s growing client
base.
Tom
Glendinning
Tom has a wealth of extensive security and risk management
experience and knowledge
gained from the law enforcement and the commercial
sectors. At Trigon, Tom is responsible
for business development and recruitment at Senior
and Board level.
He worked in the London Metropolitan Police as Detective
Chief Superintendent and as operational head of the
prestigious International & Organised Crime Branch
at Scotland Yard.
A large proportion of his service was completed in
active operational management roles with various Specialised
Crime Groups.
Following his police service, Tom was appointed Head
of Global Investigations and Loss Prevention within
the British Airways Corporate Security Group, where
enduring savings amounting to several £M were
attributed to the loss prevention strategy which he
introduced and led during his 6 years with the Company.
During the past four years, he has specialised in
providing security and risk management consultancy
services to 'blue chip' high-tech, pharmaceutical,
fashion manufacturers and
logistic providers on behalf of their insurers within
the London and USA markets. Tom’s significant
experience adds tremendous value to the recruitment
services that Trigon
provides.
Carlos
G De Escalada MBA. BA (Hons)
Recruitment Manager (Spain)
Carlos is based in Seville, Spain where he is responsible
for managing senior security recruitment projects
throughout Europe. He completed his MBA at Henley
Management
College in the UK (1999). Carlos has worked for a
number or reputable companies including
Ernst & Young, British Airways, Coral-Eurobet
(Deutsche Bank) and Tri Dynamics. He has
lived and worked in Madrid, Paris, London and the
US and speaks several European
languages. Carlos is also a commissioned officer in
the Spanish Army Reserve Forces.
Joerg
Janssen
Business and Marketing Manager
Joerg is responsible
for managing the UK office and for marketing activities.
He is currently about to complete a Diploma in International
Business Administration (Dipl. Kaufm.) which is equivalent
to a Master's degree. Joerg is fluent in English,
German and Dutch.
